The minimum level teams will take as imports in Europe is NCAA Div 1 / CIS.

CHL – will allow some Tier 2 Junior players to tryout

ECHL – most teams require minimum WHL – OHL – QMJHL – NCAA Div 1 and CIS

AHL –  getting an AHL tryout is almost impossible as a “walk on” you will need to establish some very good stats in the ECHL or CHL to get into an AHL camp
